Fibalance™ PHGG – Exploring the possibilities in the FSMP (Food for Special Medical Purpose) Sector
The 2025 Conference on FSMP (Food for Special Medical Purpose) and Clinical Nutrition Development was grandly held in Huai’an on May 14th, bringing together industry leaders to explore the integration of “FSMP + Clinical Nutrition” and the emerging trends shaping the future of the field.
Dr. Jeff Yu from Zymebase Inc. delivered a keynote presentation titled “Starting from Fibalance™ PHGG: Developing Innovative Prebiotics with a Focus on the FSMP Sector.” In his talk, Dr. Yu highlighted application cases and clinical trial data showcasing Fibalance™ PHGG’s role in the FSMP space, with a focus on meeting the diverse nutritional needs of patients across age groups and conditions. He also introduced ZymeBase’s two latest prebiotic innovations under development: Partially Hydrolyzed Fenugreek Gum (PHFG) and Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP), as part of the company’s continued efforts to provide science-driven, functional ingredients tailored for the market.
